This adawaredx.dll process is a part of Ad-Aware Security Tool bar which can be described as an Ad-Aware security toolbar link library. This file is a browser helper object or BHO that runs or operates whenever a web browser is opened. This file does not get blocked by the firewalls of a computer as it is looked at by the firewall as the browser itself. This file can change the default search engine and the home page of the web browser. The file adawaredx.dll also collects and stores information about the user's browsing patterns and collects data. After collecting data, it sends it to the server. This adawaredx.dll file helps the server to suggest services or ads via toolbars. The file adawaredx.dll also runs on Windows operating systems. Though this takes valuable data into its possession, no risks have been reported so far on this *.dll file.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. adawaredx.dll. is used by Ad-Aware Security Toolbar, If you shut down adawaredx.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
