Advanced PC security from Lavasoft, Ad-Aware Browsing Protection is the application installed through the adawarebp.exe file. The file is installed by default, in C:\ProgramData, with a command line of C:\ProgramData\Ad-Aware Browsing Protection\adawarebp.exe. As its name suggests, the application provides advanced protection for your PC, while browsing the Internet. It wards off spyware, adware, malware, viruses, rootkits, bots, and a whole slew of other malicious files. It provides real-time protection, giving users the advantage of surfing through the Internet without having to worry about phising, and malicious attacks. The application is made to launch upon boot-up, and runs in the background. RAM usage is 3.13 MB, while committed memory is approximately 92.63 MB; with a peak committed memory of 103.88 MB and a priority level set at High. The file is a non-system file but it is not advised to disable the application, especially when connected to the Internet so as not to render your system open to security threats that enter the system through online browsing activities.
