What is  activitydisk.exe

The activitydisk.exe executable is the main launcher of the SmartSoft ActivityDisk by Iomega. SmartSoft ActivityDisk software was developed to enable users to install and run a program from an Iomega-branded Zip disk. This makes the program portable and can be run in any computer as long as the computer can support a Zip disk. Data and other associated files are integrated into the disk by the program and require only the installer of the program to be made portable. The Zip disks can also be password protected so that access will be limited. The activitydisk.exe executable and the SmartSoft ActivityDisk software are now phased out and were replaced by the Active Disk software from Iomega. The programs installed in the media are functional and will give the user portability but the Zip disks tend to have slow transfer speeds and application feedback so the application’s performance becomes very slow even on newer systems.
