What is  acrobat.exe

The acrobat.exe file refers to Adobe Acrobat, which is a program made and popularized by Adobe Systems Incorporated. This software comes in different versions(Adobe Acrobat 7.0, Adobe Acrobat 6.0, Adobe Acrobat 5.0, Adobe Acrobat 8.1, Adobe Acrobat 9.1, Adobe Acrobat 8.0, Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional, Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, Adobe Acrobat 3D), but, they are all a set of application software that are used to create, view, share or print Portable Document Format or PDF files. Each of the applications is considered as a proprietary commercial program, but one component, which is the Adobe Reader, is a freeware that allows a user to only view and print files, with limited options to create PDFs. As the main component of Adobe Acrobat, acrobat.exe needs to be present and function well; thus, must be kept stored in the folder, mostly in C:\Program Files, and in the registry key of the computer system.
