The file acmon.exe is also known as the ACMON file. The file belongs to the software ASUS Splendid Video. And this software belongs to the ASUS company. The program deals with Video Editing and enhancing for commercial of personal use. The file can be usually found in the C:\Program Files and has the known file size of 17,920 bytes in the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The file does not belong to the Windows Core File and has not provided the user with an interface. This means that the user may not manipulate the process and it starts when the Personal Computer starts. The file has the registry key of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. The user may still have the option to remove the file by removing the entire program in which the file is associated with. This can be done by using the Add/Remove Program Utility located in the Control Panel of the Microsoft Windows Operating System.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. acmon.exe. is used by ACMON, If you shut down acmon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop acmon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ACMON, from your system.
