The EXE process called accwlsvc.exe, also known as AntiVir Desktop, is created by the Microsoft Windows Operating System and associated with Avira GmbH. The definition AntiVir means a process that scans, blocks, deletes or treats virus infection of the PC system. The EXE process has a range of 400,000 to 500,000 bytes size. The process automatically pops-up from the system to inform users of its scheduled scanning of systems. The system runs a full scan of the PC’s system and detects harmful threats of the system. This process is found on desktops and in start-up icons list. The main function is to inspect the status of the system to ensure its condition as safe or at risk. The file size ranges from 400,000 to 500,000 bytes size. The EXE process categorized as security software is a safe process enabled in computer systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. accwlsvc.exe. is used by ASWLSVC, If you shut down accwlsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop accwlsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ASWLSVC, from your system.
