AutoCAD Application is the internal or process name of the file acad.exe, which is a component of the program AutoCAD version 2000, as well as AutoCAD version 2002, and AutoCAD Electrical version 2008, and are all created by Autodesk, Inc. AutoCAD is a type of software that is used for computer aided design or CAD and drafting, and supports 2D and 3D as the standard formats. This program enables a user to view, edit and share drawings via an Internet browser anywhere, with the feature to store drawings and other project files developed through AutoCAD. It also allows a user to view, edit and share drawings or designs online. The core component of this software is acad.exe, so it is considered to be highly important. It is responsible in enabling the functions of AutoCAD to properly work, and may also launch other processes bundled in the software. Stopping or deleting this particular file can cause errors, or completely disable the software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. acad.exe. is used by AutoCAD, If you shut down acad.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop acad.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AutoCAD, from your system.
