What is acachsrv.exe
The acachsrv.exe file is a non-system process that is under the product software ActivCard Gold for CAC – PKI. The other names for the software are ActivClient for CAC - PKI Only and ActivClient Mini. This software was created by ActivCard or ActivIdentity. This process is not considered to be CPU Intensive and usually originates from installed software initiated by the user. This process is also known as ActivCard Gold Component or acachsrv. The location of the file is usually in the C:\Program Files\Common Files with file sizes normally ranging from 74,240 bytes to 139,264 bytes. This file does not have a visible window and is able to hide itself. This process is considered safe and can be disabled since this is not a critical component of the system. The process can be viewed running in Task Manager as process acachsrv.exe. Error on this file can be fixed by uninstalling and re-installing the associated program.
