Aahmsvc.exe is the executable file for Asus HM Com Service, a motherboard servicing utility for AsusTeK Computers. It runs as a system account containing extensive privileges on the computer, which acts the computer within the network. Asus HM Com Service runs upon system startup through the Service Routine Controller under service control protocol called USB Monitor or the IDM or Internet Download Manager which includes the Bluetooth software. Its controller function bridges the memory components onto the host computer. The controller processes firmware-level codes and performs system error correction, bad block mapping, wear leveling, read disturb management, read scrubbing, read and write caching, encryption, and garbage collection. Its performance can scale with the chips utilized in the device. When multiple devices operate within parallel, the bandwidth scales, the high latencies get hidden, and the outstanding operations are maintained or pending while the load is distributed evenly between devices in the network.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aahmsvc.exe. is used by ASUS HM Com Service, If you shut down aahmsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop aahmsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ASUS HM Com Service, from your system.
