This .dll file is known as Ask.com Search assistant and was also formerly recognized as Ask Jeeves. This has been developed by Ask.com Company. Files that have an extension like this are called modules or programs which are loaded into a computer’s memory. Ask.com Search acts as a Browser Helper object or BHO. It immediately runs in the user’s browser upon starting it. However, this is not a preinstalled file. Thus, a user may have installed this intentionally or at any instance may have browsed and downloaded other programs over the internet. Ask.com Search is a site which focuses to answering various questions. This .dll file cannot be seen on task managers as this file is part of other processes.
