BALARAD Embird Studio is a plug-in program for Embird embroidery software which is downloaded as a separate file then installed into the Embird software. This plug-in is optional and users can opt not to install it. BALARAD Embird Studio creates designs that uses vector objects. Drawing vector outlines of objects and filling them with different stitches is the main concept of digitizing in Embird Studio. This software has two parts, Sfumato Stitch and Digitizing tools, in which both are optional too. Sfumato creates multicolored portraits, with vector boundaries that are filled into the stitches automatically. Sfumato objects can have color mask, openings, 1-5 shades of its basic color and carvings. It can create effects of shading by filling objects with stitches that form loose or heavy meanders while fabric shows through the stitches. The other program, The Digitizing Tools, digitizes scalable embroidery designs up to 100x100 centimeters.
