What is ws32.exe
The executable process file, ws32.exe, is a program that is created by the author, Borland Intl., which also goes by the name, Winsight. It has a feature of enabling a programmer to have a range of vision on the characters of Windows programs and Windows messages. It has no visible window and is not considered belonging as a Windows core file. Upon start-up of Windows, the process file starts, under the Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Run. Located under C:\Documents and Settings, with the command C:\Windows\ws32.exe, it starts from Run, Run Once, Run Service, or Run Services Once entry in the registry. The memory file size on Windows 7/XP is 57,857 bytes with a file type that is in harmony at PE32 for Microsoft Windows (GUI) Intel 80386 32-bit. The process file is utilized by Keylogger Stealth Logger with the following functions: usage of DNS to recover the IP address for websites, ability to read phone book details and email addresses, utilize the PC to connect to chat rooms, looks at autoexec.bat file contents, and ability to create Background Service on the machine.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ws32.exe. is used by Winsight, If you shut down ws32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ws32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Winsight, from your system.
