Wavxdocmgr.exe is the process file for WavX Document Manager Application, a hardware security program that provides strong data protection through the TPM or Trusted Platform Module process. The Document Manager refers to the document management system which involves control of the documents from their creation to archiving. Its functions include checking in and checking out to check stored data for consistency, the version management by tracking different versions and formats of the same information including its revisions and renditions, the search and navigation to find information with its associated contexts, and organizing documents by structures such as files, folders, and overviews. Wavxdocmgr.exe overlaps with the other management components and office applications like the Microsoft Outlook and Exchange, Lotus Notes and the Domino, and the Library administering information storage. TPM is the name of the published detail of a secure cryptoprocessor which stores cryptographic keys which protect information, more called as the TPM Chip or the TPM Security Device.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. wavxdocmgr.exe. is used by WavX Document Manager, If you shut down wavxdocmgr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop wavxdocmgr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is WavX Document Manager, from your system.
