The vsnpstd2.exe file is an executable application process bundled with other EXE program files, certain Dynamic Link library resources, some SYS drivers, various background processes and associated components that are needed by the firmware and driver software resources of certain Web cameras from various product manufacturers. The vsnpstd2.exe file is deployed as among the resource processes of the Camera Monitor MFC Application module, which is built into these firmware and driver software resources. The vsnpstd2.exe process is included in the installer distributions of these associated firmware components and driver software resources, which also means the vsnpstd2.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation and configuration of these firmware and driver software packages.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. vsnpstd2.exe. is used by Camera Monitor MFC Application Module, If you shut down vsnpstd2.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop vsnpstd2.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Camera Monitor MFC Application Module, from your system.
