The vpc32.exe program is the essential component of the Symantec/Norton AntiVirus software that enables the users to setup and configure antivirus settings and be able to view logs or record of events. It allows the user control of system scanning and updating schedules, level of scanning, action for suspicious files and detected malware, as well as the ability to view and change the settings. Vpc32.exe can be located in a subfolder contained in the local drive (C:/) Program Files folder. Vpc32.exe can be seen running in the Task Manager window, among the list of running programs.
