The process called vawinservice.exe, known by the service name VideAceWindowsService, is a type of an executable or EXE file, and is a part of the program ExpressGate Cloud, which is created by VideACE Technology Co or Asus. During the installation of the software product that houses the module, vawinservice.exe is downloaded as well by storing itself on a file folder location, which is usually in C:\Program Files, if not in C:\Documents and Settings or C:\Windows, registers into a Windows registry with registry keys and an execution command, and automatically runs in the background to execute its own function, that completes the overall performance of the program. Other than that, vawinservice.exe works with most, if not all, versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. Like other processes, vawinservice.exe is recommended to keep running in the background, and must not be terminated, except if there are problems or errors from it that causes the performance of the system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. vawinservice.exe. is used by ExpressGateCloud, If you shut down vawinservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop vawinservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ExpressGateCloud, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as ExpressGateCloud, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
