The usbnotify.exe process is an EXE program file integrated into the TrueSuite Access Manager software, which is a Windows program classified as a fingerprint scanner monitor and hardware device management tool that is bundled with certain Toshiba laptops equipped with the TrueSuite Fingerprint Scanner device and associated software. The usbnotify.exe process assists the TrueSuite Access Manager software in implementing its embedded functionalities into the Windows-based system, such as configuring TrueSuite Fingerprint Scanner settings and managing other configurations of associated hardware components that are connected to these compatible Toshiba laptops. The usbnotify.exe process and the TrueSuite Access Manager program are included as component files, libraries and applications bundled into the installer distribution packages of the firmware resources and driver software utilities of these Toshiba laptops, which means the usbnotify.exe process and the TrueSuite Access Manager software are integrated into the system upon the installation of these Toshiba firmware components and device driver software utilities.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. usbnotify.exe. is used by TrueSuite Access Manager, If you shut down usbnotify.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop usbnotify.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is TrueSuite Access Manager, from your system.
