What is upsd.exe
The upsd.exe file is an executable application resource process included with other EXE program files, certain SYS driver files, some modular DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files, particular background process components and various associated resources that are needed by the Belkin Bulldog Plus software. This is a Windows program classified as an external power device monitoring tool that was developed for Belkin UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) devices. The upsd.exe process is specifically deployed as a component of the Bulldog Service module, which is an applet built into the Bulldog Plus software for implementing Belkin UPS device control and management features into the system. The upsd.exe process is also a component of the UPSentry 2000 software, which works with the firmware and driver software components of the Belkin UPS device, in order to integrate added support into the system for power failures. The upsd.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation and configuration of the associated Belkin UPS firmware and driver software components, and the Belkin Plus software is included in the installer distributions of these device resources.
