What is  ui0detect.exe

The ui0detect.exe process is a part of the Interactive Services Detection and is created by the Microsoft Corporation. This program is a system processes and services running in session 0. Interactive Services Detection pacifies and lessens the legacy applications that detects whether a service is trying to cooperate with the desktop. The UI0Detect is the main handler of the Interactive Services Detection. The operating system is usually able to detect the desktop interaction and initiate the UI0Detect service so that the user will be able to see the taskbar button flashing. This is done on a 32-bit version of the Windows operating system. On the other version, the 64-bit version of the Windows operating system, the OS will not initiate the UI0Detect service if the service does not originate from a 64-bit application. When this happens the computer system will most likely hang. The 64-bit service needs to be in running order in order to pacify the program.
