Tracker is a process executed through the file tracker.exe. It appears to be part of several different software programs, the most common of which is MyInvoices & Estimates Deluxe from Avanquest USA. The other software that the tracker.exe executable file is associated with is known as Veritas NetBackup Client Job Tracker. Finally, the file’s process is associated with Microsoft software: software for Microsoft .NET Framework or software for Visual Studio. For all of these software programs or applications however, the file’s primary purpose is unclear. There is no information that can factually determine whether or not the tracker.exe file is the main executable for these software programs, or if the file is simply a component of the software. Nevertheless, whatever its purpose is, the file as never been mentioned by users or threat review sites as being a form of virus. This being said, unless the file is causing problems, it can be considered as a relatively safe file to have on the computer.
How can I stop tracker.exe and should I?
Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. tracker.exe. is used by Tracker, If you shut down tracker.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop tracker.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Tracker, from your system.
