The tp4mon.exe process is also known as the IBM PS/2 TrackPoint Application and it belongs to the software IBM PS/2 TrackPoint Support. It is owned by IBM. There is minimal information gathered about the process. The application contains no visible window. The process starts when the Windows starts. It is a trustworthy file from the Microsoft Corporation. The process is not a Windows system file. It is capable of monitoring applications and recording inputs. The process contains a security rating of 20% dangerous, which makes it relatively safe to operate according to the users; though it is generally prudent if the user performs this process under careful conditions within his or her computer system; in order to reduce any potential dangers to the user’s computer system, the user needs to be aware of the possibilities that this process may contain some possible dangers, such as virus, Trojan, worm, and other potential dangers (which makes this process vulnerable to virus writers) that needs to be aware of, as well taking the necessary measures which can be done whenever this program is being operated in order to guarantee the security for the user’s PC system.
