The ToolbarU Application belongs to the software ToolbarU Application which is owned by the AVG Technologies. This process has the responsibility of performing silent updates within toolbars and it is advisable not to turn it off. It is a vital process that needs to be kept within the computer system as it provides protection from malicious threats coming from outside sources such as the Internet or shady websites. The toolbarupdater.exe process must be kept up to date in order to accumulate most of its benefits as it carries its own updates such as the support of a new browser version, new features added and bug fixes. The AVG Toolbar must be enabled in order to derive the greatest benefit of the process toolbarupdater.exe so that the process will remain functional within the computer system. Updating the toolbarupdater.exe can be done automatically or manually. Some malwares can be disguised as the toolbarupdater.exe process therefore securities must be checked within the computer system.
