The tmerzctl.exe file is a type of an executable or EXE process, and is a part of the program Toshiba Mobile Extension 3, also Toshiba TMERzCtl or Remote Administrator or TOSHIBA Mobile Extension3 for Windows XP, which is developed by Toshiba Corporation. Toshiba Mobile Extension 3 is a software product that is installed on Toshiba computers, along with Toshiba ACPI Common Modules for Windows XP. What the process tmerzctl.exe does it to provide Hot Dock and Undock or Warm Dock and Undock support, as well as support for hot and warm for swapping an internatl Select bay device on Toshiba Mobile units, including Toshiba Tecra M2, Toshiba Portege M200, and Toshiba Portege M205-S810. Furthermore, this file supports 3 different methods of docking and undocking a mobile computer. As a Windows process, tmerzctl.exe is compatible with Microsoft Windows Operating System, but particularly Windows XP, by Microsoft Corporation, but can be also installed in other Windows operating systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. tmerzctl.exe. is used by Toshiba Mobile Extension 3 or Toshiba TMERzCtl, If you shut down tmerzctl.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop tmerzctl.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Toshiba Mobile Extension 3 or Toshiba TMERzCtl, from your system.
