The QuickBooks SDK enables a user to develop program solutions for desktop computers that integrate with the accounting platform called QuickBooks, also made by Intuit Developer Network. It means this Software Development Kit is exclusively developed to allow data sharing with QuickBooks. In fact, a single SDK is used for all editions and versions of QuickBooks, which include QuickBooks Pro, QuickBooks Premier, QuickBooks Enterprise, and QuickBooks Online Edition. This program is based on several programming standards, like the Component Object Model (COM), HTTPS for Internet, and eXtensible Markup Language (XML).
