The tbupddwu.exe file is an executable component process integrated into the device driver utilities developed by Touch-Base. Specifically, the tbupddwu.exe process is deployed as one of the EXE application resources of the Universal Pointer Device Driver module. These Universal Pointer Device Drivers are for certain types of external hardware components that are equipped with touch screen displays and keypads. Touch-Base also develops other touch screen technologies aside from the Universal Pointer Device Driver, such as touch screen controller drivers. The tbupddwu.exe process assists the Universal Pointer Device Driver in implementing its touch screen functionalities and system communication protocols into the Windows-based system, in order for the user to gain access to the touch screen features embedded into these supported devices. The tbupddwu.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Universal Pointer Device Driver module, which is normally bundled with the firmware utilities and driver software distributions of supported devices that are equipped with touch screens and keypads.
