What is sr.exe
The file sr.exe, known as SlickRun Command Line, belongs to software Bayden SlickRun by Bayden Systems. This software is free-floating command-line utility for Windows that gives users fast access to any program or Website. It allows users to create command aliases known as MAgicWords. This helper utility runs in the background and when required, responds to a set of 'magic words' that are used to access favorite applications. Users can define their own magic words, export them, or import magic words created by others. The application can be customized using the Setup command and running the Customize SlickRun dialog box that appears on the screen. Four tabs appear during the customization dialog. Library refers to the library of magic words or command aliases, Appearance allows users to change the visual look of SlickRun, Options enables action configuration, and the What's New tab identifies the version of SlickRun that is being used. MagicWord Packs are available online and from the application Website.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. sr.exe. is used by SlickRun, If you shut down sr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop sr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is SlickRun, from your system.
