The file sixengine.exe executes a process on the computer that is generally known as SixEngine.exe. This file is normally installed by the computer’s OEM, and what this means is that you will usually find the file already installed on your newly-purchased computer. The file has something to do with motherboards, particularly ASUS motherboards. It appears to be an energy saving utility for the motherboard as well as the CPU. It executes its self on the computer as a background task. Its general location is in a Program Files subfolder in C drive. Common sizes are from 5,958,656 bytes to 5,964,800 bytes. This file is not the actual executable file for the motherboard, which means that if you wish to disable the file, you may do so without causing any harm to the motherboard. This was the actual observation of users who disabled the file. The file and its process are deemed as safe, not posing any risks to system security.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. sixengine.exe. is used by SixEngine.exe, If you shut down sixengine.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop sixengine.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is SixEngine.exe, from your system.
