The rx2agent.exe process is also called Rx2Agent Module, which is designed for the software PerfectSpeed or PerfectSpeed PC Optimizer created by the Raxco Software Company. PerfectSpeed is a Raxco Software Company product that is tasked to optimize and speed up user computers. It has a disk defragmentation feature as well as registry cleaning. Disk defragmenting is necessary for computers to get rid of long time files or data that are no longer needed on the computer system. This software PC optimizer can also permanently delete and wipe off traces of old files that are no longer in use. Once this optimizer has done all the cleaning on a computer’s registry or disc, the user will notice a very strong improvement on the computer’s performance. Accumulated data over time can cause PC registry fragmentation. It is the user’s decision whether he needs the software for this purpose or not yet.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rx2agent.exe. is used by PerfectSpeed, If you shut down rx2agent.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rx2agent.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is PerfectSpeed, from your system.
