The file rstray.exe is an executable file and is a property of Rising AntiVirus version 2009 and 2011 by the Beijing Rising Information Technology Co. It is better known as Rising Tray Framework. Rising Tray Framework is a system tray cleaner. It has a visible icon on the system tray when it is actively running and hides itself when it is inactive. This file can be uninstalled depending on the user’s preference. This is not an encrypted file and it is stored on the computer at 174.6 Kb. The file rstray.exe is a non-system process file that can communicate with other applications on the computer running alongside it. This process does not require large amount of data or complicated commands to operate as this is not a CPU intensive process. This is usually installed on the computer when users download or install software from off the internet.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rstray.exe. is used by Rising AntiVirus 2009 and 2011, If you shut down rstray.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rstray.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Rising AntiVirus 2009 and 2011, from your system.
