What is rshd.exe
The file rshd.exe is an executable file also known as RSH Daemon for MKS Toolkit for Win32 or simply RSHD software, which was designed and manufactured by Mortice Kern Systems (also called Noko Soft). RSHD is responsible for running commands on a computer that has been passed on by a client. Once it is done running the commands, it has to send the results back to the client’s server or computer. RSHD is said to have been designed or created by Mortice Kern Systems, also called Noko Soft, to provide convenience and ease to users in running their applications and programs on the system. This process is located in “C:\Program Files”. It does not have a visible display window when running in the background nor does it have an icon on the taskbar of the computer. It is not a Windows core file. It also has the capability of monitoring other applications and controlling how they perform.
How can I stop rshd.exe and should I?
Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rshd.exe. is used by RSHD, If you shut down rshd.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rshd.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is RSHD, from your system.
