The rnathchk.exe process is included in the installer distributions of the RealOne Player software, which also means the rnathchk.exe process is implemented into the system alongside the other required program files, DLLs and system drivers of the RealOne Player program, and this is done upon the installation of the RealOne Player software in the Windows-based system. The rnathchk.exe process is specifically deployed as one of the components of the RealNetworks ATH Check App module, which is an applet built into the RealOne Player software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rnathchk.exe. is used by RealOne Player and RealNetworks ATH Check App Module, If you shut down rnathchk.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
