The process rgslauncher.exe is an executable file also called as RGS Launcher of the software Rockstar Games Social Club by Take-Two Interactive Software. The Rockstar Games Social Club (RGSC) is a gaming website that allows users to connect Rockstar Games' releases with the Internet. Currently, there are about ten games that are supported on the website, namely, Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony, Midnight Club: Los Angeles, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Beaterator, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire, and Agent. The RGSC does not allow complete access to users who do not record their games via the website. Once registered, users can view their statistics synced with the website and can now join games available. Upon registration, users are offered tools needed to keep tabs on every interface of the users’ gaming experience whether a one-player or a multiplayer. Once played, users can immediately see their stats stack up with the rest of the users.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rgsclauncher.exe. is used by Rockstar Games Social Club, If you shut down rgsclauncher.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rgsclauncher.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Rockstar Games Social Club, from your system.
