What is  recguard.exe

Upon the purchase of a Hewlett-Packard (HP) laptop or computer unit, a default process called the recguard.exe is available. This EXE file allows a data saving function to be performed in the system, which can be available in most of the applications that creates documents. Though the recguard.exe process is a file available on HP computers, other computer manufacturers have included this process as a fundamental computer and system package. Microsoft applications is commonly the client applications of this EXE file, in which AutoSave and AutoRecovery features are vastly practiced by these programs in creating their documents. Since the recguard.exe file is the file that holds responsibility for the main protection of saved and recovered document, it is also commonly known as the PC Angel. This EXE file guards modules that are recovered by executing a security system which deters the users from changing or corrupting the saved documents of the system. This is performed with the use of the recguard.exe process’ quarantine ability to prevent the documents out of unauthorized or accidental changes or modifications.
