The file ravmone.exe, also called RAVMON, is identified as the malware Worm.Win32.Rjump.a by Kaspersky and by Windows as Worm:Win32/Rjump.J. Ravmon or Rjump is a trojan that opens a backdoor on computers running Microsoft Windows. Unauthorized users can gain access to the computer's contents once the computer is infected. Some of the signs of RJump infection are the right click context menu showing some Chinese scripts, disabled task manager, Registry Editor, and command prompt, folder option disappears, computer shutdown automatically and slogs a lot, or some hidden files and folders Option do not work. Ravmon is written in the Python scripting language and was converted into a Windows executable file using the Py2Exe tool. This trojan attempts to spread by copying itself to mapped and removable storage drives. It can spread through removable media such as CD-ROM, digital camera, flash memory, and multimedia players and is transmitted through infected email attachments and downloading infected files from the Internet.
