What is  ravmon.exe

The process file ravmon.exe is a software also known as RavMon that stands for Rising Anti-Virus Monitor and is owned by Beijing Rising Technology Corporation. This process is located usually in C:\Program files and has the file size of 622,592 bytes in the Hard Disk drive (HDD) but size would normally vary on different Operating Systems such as Microsoft Window XP , Windows Vista and Window 7. An icon will pop up beside the clock in the task bar when it is activated. This process starts when the Operating System starts. This program is not considered to be a part of the Windows core program. This process has the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. This process listens and sends data on the internet and in the Local Area Network. This process is a security monitoring software which should send alarm when another malevolent program such as a virus tries to harm the Personal Computer of the user.
