The rapapp.exe file is an executable process of Windows, particularly the BlackICE computer Protection firewall called Defender. It is called as the Rap Protection Systems, which belongs to the application ISS Proventia or Proventia Desktop, developed by Internet Security Systems (ISS). The function of the file rapapp.exe is to inform the user any modifications to the system, like the changes of files and folders, as well as detect unknown or unidentified programs. To ensure the security of the computer system, this file must not be deleted or removed. Deleting this file program may affect not only the security and performance of the system, but also other essential applications that may need it for them to work properly and effectively. Just leave the process running, but a regular PC performance scan is recommended. Moreover, the location of the rapapp.exe file varies depending on the Windows OS version or language.
