The process pmonmh.exe is known as Intel Common User Interface that is used by Intel Corporation. It also relates to the process igfxpers.exe, which is a process installed as part of the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver. This driver software offer configuration options for devices that use Intel alongside with Nvidia graphics cards. The executable file igfxpers.exe automatically installs the boot menu and launch every time the computer is started. The Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (GMA) from Intel is a self-extracting compressed file for Windows XP Home Edition, Media Center, and Professional. These software drivers are generic versions that can be used for general purposes. The computer original equipment manufacturer, however, can alter the features or incorporate customizations to the software package that they provide. Drivers are hardware-dependent and operating system specific. They driver communicate with the connected device through the computer bus or the communications subsystem that relates to the connected hardware.
