What is  pdesk.exe

The pdesk.exe file is a tray bar process used in the Matrox PowerDesk graphic card software. The EXE file paves the way for an easy and quick access to what the PowerDesk software can offer. The Matrox PowerDesk software is a desktop enhancement utility which has been developed for Microsoft Windows. The software offers a supplementary multi-display desktop administration controls, thus giving the user a wide option of utilities that only Matrox has. These utilities consist of controls where display dialog and communication boxes are seen and how to enlarge windows. The software also has communication pop ups to optimize the management of the utilities. The system tray icon which the pdesk.exe file displays, provides access to PowerDesk File Manager, PowerDesk File Finder and the PowerDesk Dialog Helper utilities. The user can use both the Microsoft Windows Start menu toolbar and the system tray toolbar generated by the pdesk.exe file. The user can see all the commands for File Finders on PowerDesk menus.
