The process known as newshortcut1.exe a part of the software Installshield which is licensed to Installshield Software. The Installshield has the main function of creating installers or software packages. It is usually associated with Windows Operating Systems, specifically on the desktop and server platforms. Lately, they have made new, updated versions that are compatible to most mobile devices. It can also manage software applications and packages on newly released gadgets like tablets. The software performs its functions by using tools to bundle different software applications into standard MSI format and also promote a faster and more efficient installation process. The latest version has improved its interface by adding a 'wizard' feature that can configure all options in one tab.
