The process msgsys.exe, which is a type of an executable or EXE file known by the service name CBA -- Message System, or Alert Management System (AMS), is a part of the program Intel Common Base Agent, or Compaq Remote Monitor Service, or Kithara Tool Suite version 7 Runtime, or Hotfix for Microsoft .NET, or Java 2 Runtime Environment, or Microsoft SQL Server version 2000, or Security Update for Microsoft, which is developed by Intel or LANDesk Software. The msgsys.exe file is a part of the network manage suite from Intel or LANDesk, and is exclusively designed to enable a user to remotely interact with the computer, either a desktop PC or a laptop, or even a notebook. It is also a kind of module that is considered safe and legitimate, so it must not be terminated, unless it is causing problems that affect the overall functionality of the software, or the performance of the system. Other than that, msgsys.exe is compatible with most or all new versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. msgsys.exe. is used by Intel Common Base Agent or Compaq Remote Monitor Service or Kithara Tool Suite, If you shut down msgsys.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
