The minibug.exe file is an EXE application process that is used by the Weatherbug Download Manager software for implementing advertising functionalities into the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of this application. This means the minibug.exe process is activated by the Weatherbug Download Manager software whenever this program is actively running in the system. Upon its execution, the minibug.exe process calls on other program files and references certain application-specific and system-wide DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules as well as other resource libraries bundled with the Weatherbug Download Manager software, in order to integrate advertisements into the Weatherbug Download Manager program. The minibug.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Weatherbug Download Manager program, which also means the minibug.exe process is packaged into the installer distributions of the Weatherbug Download Manager application.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. minibug.exe. is used by Weatherbug Download Manager, If you shut down minibug.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop minibug.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Weatherbug Download Manager, from your system.
