AutoRun MFC Application is the service name of the process called lxrautorun.exe, which is basically an executable or EXE file, and is a component of the program AutoRun Application. When the installation process of this program begins, lxrautorun.exe is a module that is able to register itself into a Windows registry with a run identifier and an execution command, store on a folder location, and automatically run in as a background service. It is recommended to keep the lxrautorun.exe file working and function on the system, that is why it must not be terminated or stopped at all, unless it is causing errors or problems that may greatly or partially affect the computer system. Speaking which, lxrautorun.exe runs on most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, which include later editions (both 32-bit and 64-bit), such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lxrautorun.exe. is used by AutoRun Application, If you shut down lxrautorun.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lxrautorun.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AutoRun Application, from your system.
