The lxdqcoms.exe process is an executable application resource that is used by the Printer Communication System for implementing its embedded set of functionalities into the Windows-based system where a supported Lexmark printer or AIO device is connected to. This means the lxdqcoms.exe process assists the Printer Communication System module in facilitating the necessary program logic integration procedures for establishing communication lines that can be used by the associated Lexmark printer or AIO device, its bundled firmware components and driver software utilities, the Windows-based system and networked computers (if any). Upon the successful implementation of these communication lines, the embedded functionalities of the Lexmark printer or AIO machine can now be performed by these devices whenever the user requests for access to these features. Upon the installation and configuration of the firmware utilities and driver software components of these associated Lexmark printer or AIO machine, the lxdqcoms.exe file is integrated into the system alongside other EXE program files, certain DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules, some SYS driver utilities, specific background process items and various resource libraries and files that are used and referenced by these Lexmark printers and AIO devices.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lxdqcoms.exe. is used by Lexmark Printer Firmware/Driver Software and Lexmark Communication System Module and Printer Communication System Module, If you shut down lxdqcoms.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lxdqcoms.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Lexmark Printer Firmware/Driver Software and Lexmark Communication System Module and Printer Communication System Module, from your system.
