The lxdnamon.exe file is an EXE application process implemented as one of the components of the device driver software distributions and firmware utilities that are bundled with certain Lexmark printers and AIO (All-In-One) machines. This means the lxdnamon.exe process is one of the EXE resource files used by certain modules embedded into these associated Lexmark printer and AIO firmware components and drivers. This also means the system and these Lexmark printer/AIO driver utilities and firmware resources can execute the lxdnamon.exe file whenever the user requests for access to the embedded functionalities of certain modules used by the associated Lexmark printer or AIO device to implement these requested features into the system. Upon its activation, the lxdnamon.exe file calls on the other component files and references the resource libraries that are distributed as the firmware and driver software utilities of the Lexmark printer and AIO device. The lxdnamon.exe file and these associated components are placed in the system upon the installation of the firmware distributions and driver software packages that are bundled with the Lexmark printer or AIO machine and intended for widely used versions of Microsoft Windows.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lxdnamon.exe. is used by Lexmark Printer and AIO Firmware/Driver Software, If you shut down lxdnamon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lxdnamon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Lexmark Printer and AIO Firmware/Driver Software, from your system.
