The process lxcrmon.exe is a component of Lexmark drivers and software that allows the use of its printers and scanners. Lexmark is a manufacturer that specializes in printers and printer accessories, which include monochrome and color laser printers and inkjet printers with scanners. When the printing process fails or if the operating system is unable to start the print driver, a registry error related to the process lxcrmon.exe possibly exists. It is probable that the printer driver is unable to convert the data for printing into the form that is specific or recognized by the printer. If the failure in communication between the computer and the printer registers an error, it is often advisable to reinstall the printer driver. The driver is usually supplied with the device in a CD that can be installed by following the onscreen prompts.
