The file lxcctime.dll, also referenced as Timer DLL, is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) file that is associated with the Lexmark printer. It automatically starts upon Windows start up, but it is not a Windows system file. Usually employed in traditional programming, a DLL file is an exterior data file, which is used by a program or application to reference outside information to be able to execute its function. Opening the file is usually not recommended since the user does not need to interact with DLL files. In some cases, opening the DLL file can cause some problem with the program execution. Though it is an executable file, it can run only from inside another executable file. Users of Lexmark printers that utilize the process lxcctime.dll can use the printer application without opening this file or doing any outside intervention.
