The Lexmark Connect software is an application that is bundled with the firmware distributions and device driver utilities of certain Lexmark printer/scanner machine models, and this software references the program logic data stored in the lxbxtime.dll process, which is a modular Dynamic Link Library (DLL) file that is packaged into the installer distributions of the firmware components and driver software resources of these Lexmark printer/scanner devices. This means the lxbxtime.dll file is placed in the Windows-based system upon the installation and configuration of these Lexmark printer/scanner firmware resources and driver software utilities, in order to implement the functionalities of the Timer DLL module into the system. This module is an applet that is built into the Lexmark Connect software. The lxbxtime.dll file is distributed with other components like certain DLL modules, specific background and system process items, some SYS driver utilities, bundled EXE application resources and various resource libraries and files, which all work together with system resources in order to implement not only the source code stored in the Timer DLL module, but also the other functionalities embedded in the associated Lexmark printer/scanner device.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lxbxtime.dll. is used by Lexmark Printer/Scanner Firmware/Driver Software and Lexmark Connect and Timer DLL Module, If you shut down lxbxtime.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lxbxtime.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Lexmark Printer/Scanner Firmware/Driver Software and Lexmark Connect and Timer DLL Module, from your system.
