The lvprcmon.sys process is a system driver utility that is deployed by Logitech QuickCam driver software resources and firmware components as a main component of the Logitech ProcMon Driver module, which is an applet built into Logitech firmware distributions and device driver software utilities that are bundled with certain Logitech QuickCam Web camera models. The lvprcmon.sys file is placed in the Windows system upon the installation of these Logitech QuickCam drivers and firmware components, which also means the lvprcmon.sys process is integrated into the installer distribution packages of these Logitech QuickCam firmware utilities and drivers, alongside other bundled programs, certain SYS system driver files, some DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules, specific background process items, EXE application resources and various components.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lvprcmon.sys. is used by Logitech QuickCam and Logitech QuickCam Firmware/Driver Software and Logitech ProcMon Driver Module, If you shut down lvprcmon.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop lvprcmon.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Logitech QuickCam and Logitech QuickCam Firmware/Driver Software and Logitech ProcMon Driver Module, from your system.
