What is  lvcomser.exe

Logitech Video COM Service, a process that has the executable file lvcomser.exe, is part of Logitech’s software for their suite of Web and video cameras. Installing the driver for your Logitech device will automatically install the service associated with the file. The standard disk image location of the file is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logishrd\LVComSer\lvcomser.exe. It has an average I/O read and write operation of 19/min. RAM usage is usually 2.93 MB, with virtual memory utilization of 60.28 MB and an average working set memory of 418 KB. The file has two parent processes: lvcomser.exe, and services.exe; the first one from Logitech, and the other from Microsoft. The file enables the system to communicate with the driver, which then will enable the system to recognize your Logitech digital media device when connected. The file runs as a background service. You may choose to disable the file but this will mean that the computer will not recognize your device, which translates to the user not being able to access the files from the video camera, or use the Web camera.
