What is  loader.exe

Blackberry Desktop Software has a loader.exe file that serves as a tool for Windows-run computers to retrieve data from Blackberry smartphones. The file is only compatible with Windows computers. There is a different version for other Operating Systems. Basically, when a Blackberry smartphone is connected to a computer, the loader.exe file can be used to retrieve specific information from the phone. Aside from data retrieval, the user can also store the phone’s event log onto the computer, reset the phone to its original factory settings, and manipulate the phone’s radio. Users may also check what other modules are included in their phone via the directory command line. There have been incidents cited by users that there is a version of the file loader.exe is a security threat, acting as spyware to manipulate Web browsers and search engines. If a loader.exe error message is displayed, and the user has not installed the Blackberry Desktop Software, the file could possibly be the spyware version.
